Savoir is an interior design studio founded by Maximilian Andreev and led together with Creative Director Ieva Filonova. Working across residential, hospitality and commercial projects, the studio approaches interiors as complete environments, bringing architecture, furniture, objects and art into conversation.

We believe the spaces we inhabit shape the way we experience everyday life.

Gently, over time, through the conditions that surround us: the quality of morning light, the acoustics of a room, the material beneath a hand, the distance between one object and another, the ease with which we move through a space.

Savoir was founded to give these things the same attention as form and image. We consider how an interior looks together with how it feels, functions and supports the people within it. In a home, this might mean better conditions for rest and daily rituals; in a restaurant, the relationship between atmosphere, acoustics and intimacy; in a boutique or showroom, the rhythm of movement, attention and encounter.

We create spaces that work quietly on the senses, hold a strong visual identity, and carry a story that could only belong to the people within them.

The Team

Savoir unites two perspectives on how an interior is made and how it is experienced.

Maximilian's background in furniture production gives him a deep understanding of construction, materials and craftsmanship: how an object is built, where quality matters, and what allows it to age beautifully over time.

Ieva comes from interiors, creative direction and visual culture, and works as a ceramicist and painter. She approaches space through atmosphere, narrative and experience: how individual elements come together to create an identity, and how that identity makes people feel.

These perspectives meet in every Savoir project. We move continuously between the practical and the emotional, from the construction of a single piece of furniture to the atmosphere of an entire room.

The Philosophy

Every project begins with listening, long before we decide what it should look like.

Each interior develops from its own conditions: the architecture, the people, the purpose of the space, and the way it will be lived in throughout the day and over time.

We believe in rooms with weight. In materials allowed to age. In light, natural and artificial, treated as part of the architecture. In comfort given the same precision as proportion, colour and form.

We are drawn to the tension between refinement and imperfection, familiarity and surprise. To objects that hold attention. To materials that become richer through use. To spaces with enough character to remain distinct for years to come.

For us, beauty lives in the way a space works, feels and is experienced.
